We had a great day Sunday. We celebrated the Lord’s supper and had a fellowship business meeting after church. We topped it off with a little drive in our buggy to pick up the eggs. It was nice weather also so overall score, 10.

What is in our food?

This is a journey I have been on since I accidentally found out certain ingredients are banned outside the U.S. I’m not obsessed, but I am more careful about the food I choose to eat. The hardest part is snacks. Pre-packaged snacks are so convenient, and making your own is a lot of work. All I can say is once you set off down this path, you can definitely taste the difference. There is a victory also in knowing the ingredients are better for you. I am pushing myself to provide better food for my family and have started back into fermentation. I also have added sour dough bread into my bread routine. I have been eating homemade bread for so long that it has changed my taste buds a bit.
