What is in our food?

This is a journey I have been on since I accidentally found out certain ingredients are banned outside the U.S. I’m not obsessed, but I am more careful about the food I choose to eat. The hardest part is snacks. Pre-packaged snacks are so convenient, and making your own is a lot of work. All I can say is once you set off down this path, you can definitely taste the difference. There is a victory also in knowing the ingredients are better for you. I am pushing myself to provide better food for my family and have started back into fermentation.
