What is in our food?

This is a journey I have been on since I accidentally found out certain ingredients are banned outside the U.S. I’m not obsessed, but I am more careful about the food I choose to eat. The hardest part is snacks. Pre-packaged snacks are so convenient, and making your own is a lot of work. All I can say is once you set off down this path, you can definitely taste the difference. There is a victory also in knowing the ingredients are better for you. I am pushing myself to provide better food for my family and have started back into fermentation. Same signs!

It’s funny that we picked the exact same signs this year as the signs we picked in 2017. I looked for other photos from some of the other years but couldn’t find any of us together.
