What is in our food?

This is a journey I have been on since I accidentally found out certain ingredients are banned outside the U.S. I’m not obsessed, but I am more careful about the food I choose to eat. The hardest part is snacks. Pre-packaged snacks are so convenient, and making your own is a lot of work. All I can say is once you set off down this path, you can definitely taste the difference. There is a victory also in knowing the ingredients are better for you. I am pushing myself to provide better food for my family and have started back into fermentation. I also have added sour dough bread into my bread routine. I have been eating homemade bread for so long that it has changed my taste buds a bit. It’s funny that we picked the exact same signs this year as the signs we picked in 2017. I looked for other photos from some of the other years but couldn’t find any of us together.
